Criccieth Arts Association has hosted Criccieth Festival for a week in June each year since 1988. Criccieth Festival 2008 Programme Patrons: • Earl Lloyd George of Dwyfor • Bryn Terfel CBE • Osian Ellis CBE • Elinor Bennett OBE Executive Chairman, Tony Roberts, with committee members Annwen Carey-Evans, Lady Chance, Elizabeth George, Jill Gloster, Dr Helen Liddle, Elfryn Lewis, Rhys Wyn Parry, Hywel Richards, Iola Williams, all the volunteers and sponsors work to ensure an extravaganza of concerts, recitals, gigs, talks and other events each year. Opera, jazz, choirs, drummers, ballet, kite building, folk dancing, brass bands, a specially commissioned opera and other music... Yes, memories are made of this, with every festival containing exceptional highlights. |
