The Chapman Trust
Established in 1963, by the late Margaret Chapman to provide funds for charities in SE England, Scotland and Wales, primarily concerned with the arts, disabilities, health and the environment. The Chapman Trust has strong local ties, with family members born and living in the area.

The Trust was established in 1995 by Mr Mathew Prichard CBE, and distributes grants to UK Registered charitable organisations predominantly working in the areas of Opera, Classical Music and the Visual Arts. The Trust derives its income from the royalties from the West End production of The Mousetrap, the Agatha Christie play, which opened in London in 1952, and is now the longest running play in history.
